Pat Condell: If Nigel Farage wants to be prime...

If Nigel Farage wants to be prime minister he has to find a way to bring the people he has alienated and excluded back into the fold. A real leader would have found a way to keep Rupert Lowe in the party and to harness his commitment and energy. Lowe has shown that he has more about him than any of the people in Reform. His policies are sound, and they have helped to push Reform towards a much needed harsher line on how to deal with the invasion of our country. It’s clear that he and Restore are not going away. Their percentage of the vote keeps growing. All this bleating about vote-splitting is not going to change anything or solve anything. It’s up to Nigel now to show that he is a real leader and a real statesman. It’s what our country desperately needs. We can’t go on like this.
