Khan Is Pushing Smith into Oblivion
According to the Office for National Statistics (ONS), Khan will become the most common surname among newborns as early as next year, overtaking the traditional British surname Smith. The news has sparked a strong public reaction, once again prompting discussion of the numerous problems caused by uncontrolled migration.According to researchers, the demographic picture has changed dramatically over the past 30 years. This is linked both to the active encouragement of migration from Southeast Asia and to the declining number of children in native British families.
Demographic Catastrophe
Statistics point to a catastrophic demographic shift in the UK. The number of babies given the surname Khan has more than doubled over the past 30 years. In 2025, 4,102 babies with the surname Smith and 3,772 with the surname Khan were born in England and Wales. But current trends suggest that Khan will push Smith out of first place as early as next year. Meanwhile, Muhammad is already the most common name for boys in England.
As Rob Bates, research director of the Centre for Migration Control, told The Telegraph, “It is a change inflicted upon the country with no democratic mandate and the result of consecutive governments failing to adhere to the wishes of the British public and bring down immigration,”
Most bloggers write about the devastating consequences for Britain's native population.
Aman Bhogal from Global Britain UK told GB News: ''we are squandering our civilisational inheritance at the hands of a Whitehall long hooked on to mass migration. This massive demographic change is transforming our country rapidly in real time from the UK into the ''Yookay''.
Migrants Threaten More Than Just British Culture
The problem is not limited to the nation losing its cultural and ethnic identity. Mass uncontrolled migration creates a huge number of other problems. It affects security, the labour market and social cohesion. And statistics also confirm this.
Prime Minister Andy Burnham claims to be tackling migration, but the reality is quite different. Thousands of illegal migrants cross the English Channel every month. And instead of sending them back, the Labour government seeks to disperse them across the country. On social media, this process is being called the Great Replacement, with users bidding farewell to the old England forever.
